Israel Bound

Paul and Sean are off to Israel for a visit looking at innovative approaches to road safety with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.  The visit is in collaboration with Israeli road safety organisation 'Or Yarok' (Green Light).

Or Yarok has had a major impact focusing on the driving habits of young male drivers and also working with young women to put peer pressure on young men who are disproportionately represented in the accident and fatality figures in road accidents in both Israel and Northern Ireland.  Public Achievement partner, Ofir Germanic has organised the visit, and will host the delegation which includes two representatives of the Fire and Rescue Service.  For an update on the visit, check out Paul's blog on this site.
