Mairead Maguire, Nobel Peace Laureate

Mairead is co-founder of the Peace People movement, and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1976 for her work in creating and sustaining a popular peace movement in Northern Ireland. she remains a committed and energetic campaigner for justice and human rights, and the movement has a deep commitment to nonviolence as a way of dealing with human problems, and as a way of life in itself.

Dr Michael Murphy

Michael is Vice-Chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities in St Paul Minnesota. His wife's family are from Armagh, where they spend part of their year. Michael has a deep interest in the contribution of education and the training of educators to active citizenship.

Adrian Bradley

Adrian is co-CEO of Biznet Solutions, an innovative web design and creative solutions company in Belfast. Adrian has a strong interest in youth and encouraging and developing leadership. His company has designed both this website and the WIMPS website.

Professor Michael Baizerman

Mike Baizerman

Mike is Professor of Youth Studies at the School of Education in the University of Minnesota. Mike has been a friend, mentor and inspiration to Public Achievement in Northern Ireland since its inception. He was also the external evaluator for Public Achievement in the USA for four years.

Michelle Marken

Michele Marken

Michelle is Principal of St Joseph's Secondary School on the Ravenhill Road in Belfast. Her school was one of the first PA schools sites, and through her leadership the school is a leading example of civic engagement through formal education.
