Fermanagh County Museum

Fermanagh County Museum, Enniskillen

This is the longest established of our Museum sites. There are 12 young people from Fermanagh aged 15 to 18 who meet every Wednesday in the museum. They have been doing a lot of work concerning a lack of activities for young people in Enniskillen and the surrounding area. To rectify this, during the summer of 2004 they put on a fantastic rock concert featuring local bands. It was held in the museum grounds and three hundred people attended!

Listen Up!

On 6th October 2005 the group opened an exhibition of young musicians in Fermanagh called Listen Up! They are confident that they will encourage a whole new group of people into the museum. In the coming year the group are hoping to encourage younger members to carry on their work.
