The main contact at this museum, in Botanic Gardens, Belfast, is Robert Heslip from the museum's History Department. He is the Coach for the group as well as the Treasurer of PA. Young people from Sandy Row and Clonard have been meeting regularly at the museum to research the history of their areas and looking at maps and archives. Finally they wrote about the personal meaning places in their neighbourhoods had, resulting in a display and booklet titled Across the Barricades.
After this they embarked on a smaller project inspired by Takabuti, the mummy at the Ulster Museum. They researched Ancient Egyptian life, religion, fashion and make-up and devised a newspaper based on this. Now they have finished this project and are coming up with some great ideas about what to do next.
