Public Achievement works with young people in a wide range of settigns across Northern Ireland, and with our colleagues internationally. Our work is premised on our model of 'Democratic Civic Practice', and specifically its youth work form, 'Civic Youth Work', through which we support teams of young people to take on real world issues in their local communities. Groups meet in community halls, youth clubs, and schools across Northern Ireland and we have also worked in museums in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland - with one group still very active in Fermanagh County Museum. For additional information on the location of sites click here.
We also partner with a variety of organisations working both in Northern Ireland and internationally, particularly in conflict regions around the world including through the Youth Work in Contested Spaces project in conjunction with the Corrymeela Community and Queen's University, Belfast.
