The 108 Campaign has been spearheaded by two young people in particular - Christopher Madden from Carrickfergus and Ellen Diver from Derry. They presented a range of issues to the two Junior Ministers at Stormont, and as an added bonus, were introduced to the First Minister, Dr Ian Paisley at Parliament Buildings.
They are both passionate about the importance of having a strong participative structure for young people in Northern Ireland, and pledged to go back to the Ministers and MLAs with concrete ideas about what a new Youth Assembly might look like. Make sure to visit WIMPS for regular updates on this important campaign.
