WIMPS Shortlisted Again!!

Public Achievement's WIMPS (Where Is My Public Servant?) website has been shortlisted for another prestigious award, just weeks after finding out that the project is a finalist in the global Stockholm Challenge Awards. The latest recognition comes from the Irish ICT Excellence awards, and the project is a finalist in the education and training category. The winners will be announced on Thursday evening at a ceremony in Dublin - so keep your fingers crossed!

The WIMPS project has been going from strength to strength since its inception in 2004, and in particular since the relaunch of the site using the latest in Web2 technology in November 2006. The latest developments on the site have been supported by the Department of Finance and Personnel. This latest recognition is another boost to our work and also acknowledgment of the expertise of Biznet IIS who designed and host the site.
