The paper attached is Public Achievement's response to the ongoing Review of Public Administration. It was co written by PA staff and by Professor Mike Baizerman and Frank Murphy, and came out of a series of conversations with leading activists and thinkers. Our approach was to attempt some 'blue sky' thinking about the role and involvement of young people in our society, and the principles or touchstones that should underpin this relationship. We would happy to hear your responses to this paper.

PA Response to Youth Council Funding Review

The Youth Council for Northern Ireland is currently reviewing its core funding policy, with a view to the new Education and Skills Authority. Public Achievement have a number of issues with the initial report, and will continue to respond to the ongoing consultation. If you want to add to or support our submission, we recommend you send your thoughts to the Youth Council directly, or to Youth Service Branch in the Department of Education.
